Aside from the ubiquitous Colt Model P,
Is anyone carrying something different?
I have been known to carry a M1860 with a 3" barrel or a Colt 1860 Richards 1st type conversion in 44 Colt.
What is in your leather?

OM Vaqueros in .45 Colt and an OM Bridshead in the same caliber. All stainless. I also have a Blackhawk in .357, but I hate that damn thing. The grip frame's too short. I HAVE to have the XR3-RED, if I wanna hit anything.

I have a 1914 colt saa that my wife's grandfather carried during WW1 still in great shape. Just had Bob Munden do his magic on it and an uberti I have, He does excelant work. I also have a armi san marcos and just picked up a armi jager with factory engraving that is new never fired. all of them are .45LC. for a carry gun I use my old EAA witness in 45 acp.

Sixgun Shorty 35717
Nice looking revolvers!
Much as I like the SAA, the S&W really do shine.
Thanks for the pictures.

4 5/8" Colt New Frontier .22LR does most of my single action field needs. I also have a Blackhawk Bisley .45, but it's just back from the gunsmith and hasn't been broken in, yet. I'm waiting on a heavy duty crossdraw holster from J.W. O'Rourke Leather before the Bisley replaces my Contender for most pistol hunting.

For every day use, I carry a 1911A1 in the back pocket of my blue overalls.
For CAS, I use a Uberti Cattleman and a short barreled Schofield break top by Navy Arms. Both in .45 Colt.
I shoot the same 200 grain rnfp cast bullet with the same powder charge of 5.5 grains of Bullseye in all 3 pistols. ACP and Colt.

Also in the local CAS shoots here in " Derringer Class " I use a pair of original S & W breaktops in .38 S &W caliber. Good plinkers.

Who is making this revolver? What diameter are they cutting the bore? reloading the 41 is a topic that has been written about by a couple of fellows and crimping the heeled bullwt of the larger bore is a lot of fun compared to crimping the smaller diater bullet of the later version.

I was surprised to see it on the Cimarron website. The ammo and brass is very expensive. Bullets are available. Also I found out you can make 41 LC from 38 special brass so that will keep the price of reloading down. Not sure on the bore diameter.

I was given a Uberti SAA clone in 45 Colt with a 4 5/8" BBL. It was a retirement gift from some military buddies. I need to shoot it. I have a ruger single six that is a neat little plinker so i'm sure the uberti will be just as fun!
