I threw caution to the wind and ordered the Sharps Rifle in 45-70 from Shiloh Sharps quite awhile back. $3850.00 delivered. OUCH!!!!!!!!

Yes Sir, a Sharps replica is on my wish list in the near future. $ 3,800 ? Good Lord man, you didn't trade Buffalo Barbie for that gun did you ? I only ask because I don't see a pic here of her holding the rifle on this " famous " couch.

As I can't afford a Shiloh model, I'll have to settle for an Italian version... the infamous " Spaghetti Sharps ". I want one in .45-120, why that is -- well I don't know. Temporary insanity I suppose.

VERY nice looking rifle

Very NICE Duke!!!!! Now you have a problem decideing what to take on the buffalo hunt ;D...

My sharps is nothing like that :P but it sure makes my day everytime I take her out for a walk..

I have shot lots of game animals with mine. And I have carried it more miles than any other gun I have owned... It still seems new to me everytime I pick it up... But when I see some of the pictures with me and the old girl setting on an elk or Bear I see how young I was and relize that I have had it for a long time... Can't believe that I still get that "Kid at Christmas" feeling everytime I pick it up or plan a hunt with it...

Hope you have as much fun with yours as I have had with mine.

I am really pleased and happy for you Duke......after the previous fiasco with the damaged barrel on that S/H number you bought......this one really makes up for that......great looking gun.....what length barrel?.......32''?.....

I hope you have many years of fun and success with that gun.

Now it's sight decision time!!!!!!!!!.............

Safe shooting,

Limey

THAT is a really nice piece of wood on the stock. I can certainly understand why they ask the prices they do. WOW. You don't see wood like that on the Spaghetti Sharps....

Beautful rifle and worth every penny. I'm glad I bought 2 Sharps many years ago and saved a few dollars.

The fit and finish on the Shilohs is absolutely amazing. How their craftsman do is beyond me.

Anyway enjoy that fantastic rifle.

hi duke i have uberti 1874 sharps the sights i put on it are. For the rear sight I got me a Shaver economy long range soule sight, and a Lee Shaver new style 17A front sight. It has the spirt level completely inclosed inside the sight. This works well for me on those bright sunny days here in West TEXAS. got both of these from the good folks at BUFFALO ARMS.
